Chaliye ek udaharan dekhein:
Maan lijiye aapne Mahila Samman Bachat Nidhi Yojana mein Rs.2,00,000 ki nivesh ki hai, aur yeh nivesh do saal ke liye hai, jismein 7.5% varshik byaj dar hai.
In the first year, the interest earned on the principal amount of Rs.2,00,000 would be:
Rs.2,00,000 x 7.5% = Rs.15,000
So, at the end of the first year, the total amount would be:
Rs.2,00,000 (initial investment) + Rs.15,000 (interest for the first year) = Rs.2,15,000
In the second year, the interest would be calculated on the revised principal amount of Rs.2,15,000, as the interest is compounded annually. The interest earned in the second year would be:
Rs.2,15,000 x 7.5% = Rs.16,125
So, at the end of the second year, the total amount would be:
Rs.2,15,000 (revised principal amount after first year) + Rs.16,125 (interest for the second year) = Rs.2,31,125
Therefore, by the end of two years, the total amount received would be Rs.2,31,125, which includes the initial investment of Rs.2,00,000 and the interest earned of Rs.31,125 for two years. Isn’t that exciting?
